HOW TO TREAT OLD PEOPLE
My wife and I attended a “Teacher Appreciation Dinner” last evening. And because we had received an invitation from our church front office, I just assumed it was because we are contributing workers in some related programs. I occasionally substitute teach for my S.S. teacher when he is out, and cannot find any other suitable teacher. Or maybe it was because my wife does the telephone on Friday from 9:00 AM until noon, or she occasionally does the devotion in the Dorcas circle meetings. Or it may have been because I do the devotionals at the Adventurers group luncheons, Or it might even have been because I lead a bible study which I was asked by certain class members to lead. The weather was threatening rain. We arrived early, The accommodations were elegant, dinner was excellent, The conversation was pleasant and we enjoyed the Christian fellowship. There was one revealing occurrence however that just happened to catch my eye. We were given a list of the teachers and leaders of certain classes and groups, and as I scanned over it taking into account all those named in the list, I could not help but notice that mine, nor my wife’s names were on the list. Well why on earth am I here? We are getting a free dinner, a very elegant evening out among Christian friends, those there that were on the list, and at no expense to us. Just lucky I guess. However we were then treated to a verbal class by class, group by group, run down of who’s who and what they do etc. There was no mention and no recognition of my wife’s or my efforts whatsoever. I began to feel as if I might be invisible, but quickly realized that was not so, because the very dedicated and prompt servers there had spoken to me at least once, and I had also entered into some pleasant conversation with the teachers who sat at my table. Suffice it to say, I began to wonder why we were invited. A mistake perhaps? A practical joke? Or maybe it was because we were just taken for granted. No I think not. I do think it was because we are old. Old people do not make a difference in any facet of today’s world, because they are usually in the way, or making some kind of ridiculous demand because they are old. They are often in need of some physical aid or accommodation because of their age or they need some type of attention paid to them, which interrupts the normal younger person’s otherwise busy day, (or evening). Well such was the case last evening and I am sorry that I am old. I wish that I were already dead so as not to need any of your attention. It was raining when we left that place, (the first to do so). I forgive all who forgot us and can honestly say, "It does not matter" I will love you anyway.

WHERES THE OIL
A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage while under the Obama rulership, here in our country. Well, there's a very simple answer.
Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical. Our OIL is located in: Alaska, California, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama Mississippi, Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.
Our dipstick is located in the White House! Oh excuse me, did I misspell Dip....

THE PERFECT SNUB
One reason why England did not join us against Syria *President Obama was a no-show at Margaret Thatcher's funeral despite being invited to attend and thus snubbing England's invitation as a
representative of the American people. What a shameful display. Joe Biden also refused, as did Hillary Clinton. By the way, former Secretary of State George Schultz (R) went to the funeral. The British took note of the fact that the Obama administration chose not to send a single senior member of the Cabinet. In fact, no actively serving, elected Democrat attended Lady Thatcher’s funeral.The Obama Administration did, however, send a formal delegation of 14 to the funeral of Socialist Dictator Venezuelan President Hugo

THE SIGNIFICANT DOLLAR
On the rear of the One Dollar bill, you will see two circles. Together, they comprise the Great Seal of the United States . The First Continental Congress requested that Benjamin Franklin and a group of men come up with a Seal. It took them four years to accomplish this task and another two years to get it approved.
If you look at the left-hand circle, you will see a Pyramid.
Notice the face is lighted, and the western side is dark. This country was just beginning. We had not begun to explore the west or decided what we could do for Western Civilization. The Pyramid is uncapped, again signifying that we were not even close to being finished. Inside the Capstone you have the all-seeing eye, an ancient symbol for divinity. It was Franklin 's belief that one man couldn't do it alone, but a group of men, with the help of God, could do anything.
'IN GOD WE TRUST' is on this currency.
The Latin above the pyramid, ANNUIT COEPTIS, means, 'God has favored our undertaking.'
The Latin below the pyramid, NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, means, 'a new order has begun.'
At the base of the pyramid is the Roman numeral for 1776. (MDCCLXXVI)

This country can now stand on its own.At the top of that shield there is a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation.

Above the Eagle, we have the thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one.
Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace. The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war, his gaze turns toward the arrows.
An (untrue) old-fashioned belief says that the number 13 is an unlucky number. This is almost a worldwide belief. You will almost never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13th floor. But think about this:
America , which relies on God (not a number) to direct and lead, boldly chose:
13 original colonies,
13 signers of the Declaration of Independence ,
13 stripes on our flag,
13 steps on the pyramid,
13 letters in 'Annuit Coeptis',

Folks, when are we going to wake up? This needs to go viral. These are the Senators who voted to let the UN take “OUR” guns! (Too many civilians armed with hunting rifles and other weapons was the reason Japan didn’t attack mainland America, as they did in China!)
These Senators need to lose in the 2014/2016 elections. We have been betrayed.
The 46 Senators Voted to Destroy US
We came four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty .
The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:
"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,
Would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.
The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S.
The language would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power in violation of their sworn duty to uphold the U.S. Constitution. “They are criminals”!

WHERE IS JERUSALEM
As a committed friend of Israel and the Jewish people, and as a God fearing American, I am ashamed that our nation is demanding a division of Jerusalem and a return to 1967 borders that would leave Israel unable to defend itself. God has declared an eternal promise that Jerusalem is His city, and it is the eternal capital of Israel.
There is no evidence that the Palestinians want peace, and they continue to refuse to recognize Israel’s right of survival as a Jewish State. I oppose all boycotts, divestments, and sanctions imposed on Israel and believe they demonstrate a spirit of anti-Semitism. Your policies constitute an attack on Israel's future and security, and put our nation at risk as promised by God – “I will bless those who bless thee, and curse him who curses thee”. (Genesis 12:3) God will not abandon his chosen people. It's not smart to mess with Israel.

When The Man Who Occupies The Oval Office Says He Will Veto A Law That Would Require Him To Obey The Law, Is It Unreasonable To Ask If America Has Become A Dictatorship? I know that is a moot point now that we are being dictated to by a Muslin, 1/4 black man, 1/4 arab, 1/4 white, and 1/4 kenyan and 100% pusillanimous nincompoop. but this is what the liberal nitwits voted for and they got it. What the sane people who(if any) are remaining must do is to live through this disastrous maelstrom of idiocy and bring the country back to sanity as soon as possible after the liberal fools are retired drawing their million dollar pensions. We just have to dodge the Hilliary bullet, the Joe Biden Bullet, and pray that the voting dead finally leave us so that they won't elect this 1/2 ass black and tan bullwinkle again.

Aaron David Miller, wrote Sunday, the 2nd of June, about the not so great performance of President, Barack Obama. I happen to agree with that assessment, but I do not agree that it is the fault of the people who elected him, or those that oppose him. And I am not one of the slow learners you alluded to. I cast my vote against him. What in the name of truth and honesty are you trying to say, Aaron. Are you saying it is not his fault that he is a non performer. No one can make excuses for a President of the United States. He is the Commander in Chief. We expect him to be that. It is not the fault of the American populace that our president is incompetent. What do YOU expect from a community organizer, “You want fries with that”?
Obama does not seem to have any trouble personally, with the presidency itself. He seems to actually enjoy the position of being free to come and go as he pleases, and to take four or five vacations a year. This is in addition to the too many golf outings he seems to make with regularity. This alone would get most CEO’s fired. Yet he continues to spend OUR money like it was growing on trees. Just flying Airforce One costs $700,000.00 dollars an hour. He flits about like a dragonfly all over the globe. Vacations, veiled as business trips and with him always goes another Airforce One and the secret service, just to add to the glut of expense he creates. There is one thing at which he excels. That is spending the taxpayers money
We Expect more governance from him, and less social frolicking about. What we do not expect is some Presidential Faux Pas, such as bowing to some Saudi King to whom only greed is a quality of life. We do expect that he will bow in prayer to God, and will acknowledge God in his moments of solemn worship and Sunday Church attendance. We do expect that. We do expect that at the playing of the National Anthem, The President of the United States will honor the flag and stand at attention and recognize the flag of the greatest country on earth, Our Country!
We expect also that in moments of great drama such as the recent Benghazi attack against our Embassy, that he will not only be available but will also be involved in saving our ambassador and helping direct our troops as to how the matter is to be treated, immediately. He was however not involved in any action during that time. What was he doing?
This president is anything but up close and personal, he is in fact so isolated from the real actual world events as to be dumfounded when one of the country’s most Powerful Agencies, The IRS is found to be misusing their powers to harass the populace of the country that elected him president. True these are very up close and personal matters that a good president should be in on, but he is not. He is however up close and personal with Tiger Woods, Union bosses, and IRS officials
The Job is a big job, and for that we as a country pay the big bucks. He seems to like it so much that he is wading right into his second term, and the scandals and shocking truths that are coming from The State Department, The Treasury Department, The Justice Department, and The Defense Department. He has no compunction about admitting that he knows nothing what so ever about these scandals and or the malfeasances of these departments.

It is not as if we were not going to get him anyway, just as we did Hitler and Tojo, and other criminals and racketeers who threaten our way of life. But the actual slow learners depended on him to bring prosperity back. They thought for sure he could just go out and make jobs appear out of thin air. Free gas for their cars, free phones, free healthcare etc.They depended on him to get rid of the problems of prisoners of war by closing Gitmo. Funny how that won’t go away. It’s those pesky prisoners, nobody wants them. Now, we have all the problems of domestic shenanigans and scandals of the various departments which no one knows anything about. and all those illegal aliens who keep wanting federal assistance. And good grief, have you seen the food stamp rolls nowadays. It’s just more than a normal American hero can deal with. And you are telling us it is the fault of the citizenry? Surely you jest Aaron. He is the one who had the shovel ready jobs that were waiting for them. Are you telling us there is no way to solve these menacing problems? Maybe HE needs to get a shovel, a bigger shovel.
Yet you suggest we lower our standards. How much lower can they go, We have elected a community organizer twice. What’s next ? The Ice Cream Vendor? We are running out of choices near the bottom. My thought would be to begin again and hire someone who actually knows what they are doing. Our choices are limited, and they should not include Hillary Clinton, or Joe Biden.
I really am shocked Aaron, by the statements to which your article alludes that we, the citizens of the greatest country the world has ever known, are at fault for our president’s poor performance. We are just trying to survive this present administrations gaffes and faux pas, enormously stupid health care bill, mammoth spending sprees, IRS, and Defense department blunders, conferences which exceed 50 million dollars in costs, and personal family vacations costing in excess of 5 million dollars each. Good Grief, will it ever end? Which one group of us is it that you wish to blame Aaron, the voters who put him there or the ones who want him gone. Gone would be my choice. When at least 53% of the population doesn’t like what he is doing, (permanent damage to our country) It would be better if we had no governance what so ever.
Aaron David Miller, wrote Sunday, the 2nd of June, about the not so great performance of President, Barack Obama. I happen to agree with that assessment, but I do not agree that it is the fault of the people who elected him, or those that oppose him. And I am not one of the slow learners you alluded to. I cast my vote against him. What in the name of truth and honesty are you trying to say, Aaron. Are you saying it is not his fault that he is a non performer. No one can make excuses for a President of the United States. He is the Commander in Chief. We expect him to be that. It is not the fault of the American populace that our president is incompetent. Obama does not seem to have any trouble personally, with the presidency itself. He seems to actually enjoy the position of being free to come and go as he pleases, and to take four or five vacations a year. This is in addition to the too many golf outings he seems to make with regularity. This alone would get most CEO’s fired. Yet he continues to spend OUR money like it was growing on trees. Just flying Airforce One costs $700,000.00 dollars an hour. He flits about like a dragonfly all over the globe. Vacations, veiled as business trips and with him always goes another Airforce One and the secret service, just to add to the glut of expense he creates. There is one thing at which he excels. That is spending the taxpayers money
We Expect more governance from him, and less social frolicking about. What we do not expect is some Presidential Faux Pas, such as bowing to some Saudi King to whom only greed is a quality of life. We do expect that he will bow in prayer to God, and will acknowledge God in his moments of solemn worship and Sunday Church attendance. We do expect that. We do expect that at the playing of the National Anthem, The President of the United States will honor the flag and stand at attention and recognize the flag of the greatest country on earth, Our Country!
We expect also that in moments of great drama such as the recent Benghazi attack against our Embassy, that he will not only be available but will also be involved in saving our ambassador and helping direct our troops as to how the matter is to be treated, immediately. He was however not involved in any action during that time. What was he doing?
This president is anything but up close and personal, he is in fact so isolated from the real actual world events as to be dumfounded when one of the country’s most Powerful Agencies, The IRS is found to be misusing their powers to harass the populace of the country that elected him president. True these are very up close and personal matters that a good president should be in on, but he is not. He is however up close and personal with Tiger Woods, Union bosses, and IRS officials
The Job is a big job, and for that we as a country pay the big bucks. He seems to like it so much that he is wading right into his second term, and the scandals and shocking truths that are coming from The State Department, The Treasury Department, The Justice Department, and The Defense Department.
