THE OLD WOMAN LOOKED UP AT THE GUNSLINGER AND SAID, "NO, I NEVER DID
DANCE... NEVER REALLY WANTED TO."

A CROWD HAD GATHERED AS THE GUNSLINGER GRINNED AND SAID, "WELL, YOU OLD BAG,
YOU'RE GONNA DANCE NOW," AND STARTED SHOOTING AT THE OLD WOMAN'S FEET.

THE OLD WOMAN PROSPECTOR -- NOT WANTING TO GET HER TOE BLOWN OFF -- STARTED
HOPPING AROUND. EVERYBODY WAS LAUGHING.

WHEN HIS LAST BULLET HAD BEEN FIRED, THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER, STILL LAUGHING,
HOLSTERED HIS GUN AND TURNED AROUND TO GO BACK INTO THE SALOON.

THE OLD WOMAN TURNED TO HER PACK MULE, PULLED OUT A DOUBLE-BARRELED SHOTGUN,
AND COCKED BOTH HAMMERS.

THE LOUD CLICKS CARRIED CLEARLY THROUGH THE DESERT AIR. THE CROWD STOPPED
LAUGHING IMMEDIATELY.

THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER HEARD THE SOUNDS, TOO, AND HE TURNED AROUND VERY
SLOWLY. THE SILENCE WAS ALMOST DEAFENING.

SOME CHRISTIAN ATTRIBUTES

Guilt – I am loved by Jesus and he has forgiven my sins. Today is a new day and the past is behind.

Fear – God is on my side. In him I am more than a conqueror. (see Romans 8)· The need to please everyone – I can’t please everyone anyways. There is only one I need to strive to please.

Envy – I am blessed. My value is not found in my possessions, but in my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

Impatience – God’s timing is the perfect timing

Sense of entitlement – The world does not owe me anything. God does not owe me anything. I live in humility and grace.

Bitterness and Resentment – The only person I am hurting by holding on to these is myself.

Blame – I am not going to pass the buck. I will take responsibility for my actions.

Gossip and Negativity – I will put the best construction on everything when it comes to other people. I will also minimize my contact with people who are negative and toxic bringing other people down.

Comparison – I have my own unique contribution to make and there is no one else like me.

Fear of failure – You don’t succeed without experiencing failure. Just make sure you fail forward.

A spirit of poverty – Believe with God that there is always more than enough and never a lack

Feelings of unworthiness – You are fearfully and wonderfully made by your creator. (see Psalm 139)

Doubt – Believe God has a plan for you that is beyond anything you could imagine. The future is brighter than you could ever realize.

Self-pity – God comforts us in our sorrow so that we can comfort others with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Retirement – As long as you are still breathing, you are here for a reason. You have a purpose to nfluence others for Christ. That does not come to an end until the day we die.

Excuses – A wise man once said, if you need an excuse, any excuse will do.

Lack of counsel – Wise decisions are rarely made in a vacuum.

Pride – Blessed are the humble.

Worry – God is in control and worrying will not help.

Our president, (ugh) it ties my stomach in knots to even say it, Barack Obama is not a Patriotic American, He is not a God fearing person, he is not even a concerned citizen. Furthermore he is a sworn enemy of the American way of life as we once knew it. To wit, his "transforming america agenda".
You on the other hand have proven to me to be patriotic, God fearing and a concerned citizen. So listen up !!!!!!!!!!  I want to see a Glen Beck show of blatant patriotic Americanism. Call Brakkkkkkkk what he is, a pusillanimous, clumsy liar and a vacuous occupant of his position, a disgrace to America and Americans. What do you think he hopes to prove using his position as a groveling, sniveling, perverse, willfully intractable, Ignominious, evil person.
We are not accustomed to having to follow cowards and fight for what they believe. I would not even consider this person to be worthy of my thoughts were it not for the fact that he is being used as an ignorant pawn of some power hungry regime. You have doped it out, you and your skilled team of investigators. We Americans would like to see some action. There must certainly be legal ways to thwart this imbecile and his crooked criminal cronies.
Perhaps I am being a bit too critical of him. But would you not have described Adolph Hitler in similar terms. I place him in no better light than Hitler, even less, because he is misusing his office and lying to the public. Speaking in circumlocutory terms never truly exposing his ultimate purpose.
Why can he not be challenged? someone should do it. You of course have challenged him, and I recognize that he is basically ignoring you. But he can be challenged lawfully, and someone should do it. Why can we not sue him? What for? Treason of course. It is my opinion that he is treasonous, And I think it can easily be proven.

As I was there for most of their presidency and know them better than just about anyone, I offer a few corrections;
Bill says: "In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor."
The facts are:
Hillary's main extra-curricular activity in law school was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a federal agent. She went to court every day as part of a law student monitoring committee trying to spot civil rights violations and develop grounds for appeal.
Bill says: "Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a children's rights project for poor kids."The facts are:
Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship with him.
Bill says: "Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers."The facts are:
She flunked the DC bar exam, yes, flunked, it is a matter of record, and only passed the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in Arkansas, none, and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She did not join the prestigious Rose Law Firm until Bill became Arkansas Attorney General and was made a partner only after he was elected Arkansas Governor.
Bill says: "President Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its chairman."
The facts are:
The appointment was in exchange for Bill's support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy.
Hillary then became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority away from Carter's choice to be chairman.
Bill says: "She served on the board of the Arkansas Children's Hospital."
The facts are:
Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill, was to sit on the Wal-mart board of directors, for a substantial fee. She was silent about their labor and health care practices.
Bill says: "Hillary didn't succeed at getting heal th care for all Americans in 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health insurance."
The facts are:
Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP. It was included in the budget deal between Clinton and Republican Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott. I know; I helped to negotiate the deal. The money came half from the budget deal and half from the Attorney Generals' tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with either source of funds.
Bill says: "Hillary was the face of America all over the world."
The facts are:
Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them.
Bill says: "Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for children's and women's issues."
The facts are:
Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, She has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico. A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer's or other conditions. And two were routine bills to aid 911 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire NY delegation. Presently she is trying to have the US memorialize the Woodstock fiasco of 40 years ago.She has done everything possible to weaken the President and our country (that's you and me!) when it comes to the war on terror.
1. She wants to close GITMO and move the combatants to the USA where they would have access to our legal system.
2. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone calls to/from the USA.
3. She wants to grant constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield.
4. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between Al Qaeda cells and supporters in the USA.
5. She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the military & CIA where coercion might be usedwhen questioning known Terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.
One cannot think of a single bill Hillary has introduced or a single comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our country in the War on Terror. But, one can think of a lot of comments she has made that weaken our country and makes it a more dangerous situation for all of us.
Bottom line:
She goes hand in hand with the ACLU on far too many issues where common sense is abando

   The  O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently  tailored empty suit. No resume, no  accomplishments, no experience, no original  ideas, no understanding of how the economy  works, no understanding of how the world works,  no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric  devoid of real substance.    
   He  has no real identity. He is half-white, which he  rejects. The rest of him is  mostly Arab, which he hides but is  disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and  his Arabic first and middle names as a way to  triply proclaim his Arabic  parentage to people in Kenya .  Only a small part of him is African Black from  his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is  exclusively.    
   What  he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is  'African-American,' the descendant of enslaved  Africans brought to America chained in slave  ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a  slave.Instead, his Arab  ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was  the main Arab business in East Africa for  centuries until the British ended it.    
   Let  that sink in: Obama is not the  descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of  slave owners. Thus he makes the  perfect Liberal Messiah.    
   It's  something Hillary doesn't understand - how some  complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole  the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is  beyond politics and reason. It is a true  religious cult, whose adherents reject  Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin,  transferring it from the evil of being human to  the evil of being white.    
   Thus  Obama has become the white liberals' Christ,  offering absolution from the Sin of Being White.  There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults  or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments  Hillary could make of any kind can be effective  against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed  In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the  more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo  quia absurdum, I believe it because it is  absurd.    
   Thank  heavens that the voting majority of Americans  remain Christian and are in no desperate need of  a phony savior.    
   He is  ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by  any thinking  American.

 

And yet he got elected,  not once but twice. Thanks to those that did not  think it was important to vote for freedom and  those that were willing to give up their freedoms  for  entitlements.

 

Remember  you don't have to be on a southern plantation to  be a slave, if you are dependent on government  entitlements you just have a different slave  owner.

Why think ahead

AN EXAMPLE OF WHY PLANNING AHEAD IS ESENTIAL FOR SUCCESS

Dear Sir:

Having recovered ever so slightly from my injuries I now can give you clarification on certain questions you have posed about the extent of my injuries

In response to your request for additional information in Block 3 of the accident report form. I put “poor planning” as the cause of my accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details will be sufficient.

I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six story building. When I completed my work, I found that I had some bricks left over which, when weighed later, were found to be slightly in excess of 500 lbs.

Rather than carry the bricks down by hand, I decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley, which was attached to the side of the building on the sixth floor.

Securing the rope at ground level, I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out and loaded the bricks into it. Then I went down and untied the rope, holding it tightly to ensure a slow descent of the bricks.  Please note that in Block 11 of the accident report form that I weigh 175 lbs.

Due to my surprise at being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of mind and forgot to let go of the rope. Needless to say, I proceeded at a rapid rate up the side of the building.

In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel which was now proceeding downward at an equal, impressive speed.

This explained the fractured skull, minor abrasions and the broken collar bone, as listed in section 3 of the accident report form.

Slowed only slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the fingers of my right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley. Fortunately by this time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to hold tightly to the rope, in spite of beginning to experience a great deal of pain.

At approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground and the bottom fell out of the barrel. Now devoid of the weight of the bricks, that barrel weighed approximately 50 lbs.

I refer you again to my weight.

As you can imagine, I began a rapid descent, down the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up. This accounts for the two fractured ankles, broken tooth and several lacerations of my legs and lower body.

Here my luck began to change slightly. The encounter with the barrel seemed to slow me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell into the pile of bricks and fortunately only three vertebrae were cracked.

I am sorry to report, however, as I lay there on the pile of bricks, in pain unable to move, I again lost my composure and presence of mind and let go of the rope and I lay there watching the empty barrel begin its journey back down onto me. This explains the two broken legs.
