There is a difference.
The main difference between liberalism and our democratic form of government is the former robs us of the right to express our God given individuality and the latter gives us freedom to discover, develop and demonstrate those divinely endowed talents. Liberals try and convince us that by denying our individuality we will "blend in" with others instead of causing them to feel "left out". We're told that by "leveling the playing field" we're producing fairness, equality, and peace. (As in Plato's description of creating a utopian state). What we're really producing is a people who can be freely manipulated and used by the ruling powers. This results in the loss of our ability to think for ourselves and a willingness to let others do our thinking for us. As so many in our present day society have allowed to happen to them already. and since The liberal media does their thinking for them now, they just "go along". Next will be chaos, as with any society which manipulates it's citizens soon will experience. Stopping the free thinking of individuals soon gives way to them being led by some fanatical pied piper. And as any societal scholar will tell you, that is what happened to Cuba. And Cuba is a perfect example of a society where a moronic pied piper led the unthinking masses to their destruction.
Yielding to the ambitions of liberalism results in mediocrity and a gradual overall loss of initiative and self respect. And as Ms. Spenser says, "suppressing individual specialness and our God given uniqueness to achieve unity would reverse the steady development mankind has experienced in the thousands of years since the days of Abraham". In spite of these verifiable historical truths, the left "still argues that unity, equality, inclusiveness and peace among men are best achieved by suppressing diversity, uniqueness and specialness". (Ms. Spenser's writings in quotations).
The liberals' message sounds good, kind, loving, caring and inclusive but instead is superficial and a subtle means of manipulating unsuspecting followers and gaining power and control for themselves. It's full of good intentions but results in costly failures, both to the economy and the human progress. We each one have an individual uniqueness. By denying our "specialness" (or being denied our specialness by the powers that be) in order to "blend in" we are denying our divine purpose and endangering the future of our country. We must constantly be alert to the harmful suggestions of the far left and constantly build a defense against them. We must protect and honor our God given individualities and not concede them to a "nanny" government.

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class.
One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter.
The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question.
He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.
The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food.
"When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.
"They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.
"The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.
One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.
If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to share this with your friends.
If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably not share this.
BUT, God help us all when the gate slams shut!

Nothings Changed Except Everything
What to write about? There's so much going on, so many revelations that it's hard to narrow it down to one item. Let's see, the Emir, scuse me, the president has convinced us that ISIS has nothing to do with Islam, white cops are cold blooded murders of black innocents, and it only took 1 month for him to blind the GOP as to meaning of the 2014 victory. This latter topic really gets me boiling. Today's GOP leadership knows nothing but "hands up, I surrender". The dems have laughingly set back in disbelief and watched these empty suits almost totally destroy conservatism, the very foundation of the party. Even tho landslide elections in 2010 and 2014 have vividly illustrated that the vast number of Americans prefer conservatism to liberalism, the RINOs just don't get it. The people said "stop Obama and his policies"! They think the people said compromise with the liberals and quit being obstructionists.
Mark Styne said only 1 election in recent years really changed the direction of the country. The election of Ronald Reagan. Obama made the 2010 GOP landslide victory meaningless by governing in total defiance of the law and the constitution. The GOP, with the passage of the Omnibus Bill fully funding Obama's immigration order and ObamaCare, have proven the 2014 landslide victory meaningless. Unbelievably 20 republican senators voted with Obama and against the overwhelming wishes of the American people.
Of course we hear that this is not the time to take a stand. Wait until 2015 and then we'll make our stand. Since Obama took office in 2008 we've continuously watched the republicans say, "now isn't the right time". Unfortunately, the "right time" has never materialized for this group of sell outs.
The question obviously is, do we have any patriotic, value based republicans left with courage, initiative and leadership? Can you name the ones who do? Lets see, there's Cruz, Goudy, Lee and a handful of others. Fat chance the doormat wing of the democrat party (our beloved RINOs) would ever support any of these guys as our presidential nominee. No, they're more apt to join the democrats in trashing them into obscure footnotes.
If the founding fathers had been like our GOP leadership, and the people who support them, we'd still be under British rule. We are facing the most critical time in our history. Islamic Jihad attacks on our homeland, blacks out to destroy "white" America, rampant immorality, socialist/Marxists controlling our media, education, judiciary, and government in general, and we have nobody (very few) willing to stand up and save the country from this liberal cancer. Nope, saving the party and controlling all the power, that's what's important. God help us..

What is the truth? Definition Please.

I don't always agree with Charles Barkley but he hit the nail on the head when being interviewed on a local Philly radio station. Something to the effect that Ferguson protestors aren't blacks, they're "scumbags". He went on to say (sic), "what would our inner cities be like if there were no cops. All one has to do is to observe the Ferguson unrest and see the outrage that blacks are experiencing even in the face of the truth that the black bully that was killed was in fact on drugs (marijuana, PHP) and had enough of it in his system to be hallucinating. That is the truth. And another fact, is that the bully had just robbed a convenience store and assaulted the clerk who had tried to stop him from stealing a box of cigars. There is video evidence of that event. That is the truth. There is also evidence of his parading down the middle of the street, the reason for the policeman to have stopped, was to seek to avoid a tragedy of him being run over and a real incident being started. That is the truth. And If there is a convenience store on a street, no matter where it is, you can be sure of one thing. A lot of traffic is on that street or the store would not be there. We are not talking about a rural community of just three or four stores, we are talking about a busy suburb of St.Louis. That is the truth. As to the rumor of his being shot in the back, and of his hands being in the air. No one has evidence of that false representation, and those statements are proven to be lies and rumors. Further evidence from the scene, his DNA in the police car, the struggle he had with the officer of the law who has stopped him. because he was breaking the law, and the wounds to his hand, and his body would indicate that there must have been a struggle. That forensic evidence suggests that the officer of the law was telling the truth about being rushed and accosted by the insolent law breaking 300 lb. bully. The officer of the law, did not stand over him and shoot him several times. and that testimony is believable. And further testimony suggests he was reputed to be a trouble maker, and not a gentle giant.
Obama has shown us just how objective he is regarding race relations when Al Sharpton (i.e. the black Yassar Arafat) has been to the WH 82 times as a "race relations advisor". He meets Obama's requirements: White hater, America hater, "scumbag" revolutionary who wants to destroy the country.
With all the rhetoric about what happened in Ferguson, it's expected that the blacks don't believe anything said in the Grand Jury testimonies, and if the whites do believe it that just proves they're racists. It's obvious that Obama, Holder, Sharpton and their Marxist followers want to use this event to further separate the races, just as Sal Alinsky proposed. However, it's my opinion that the motive for their racial hatred towards whites goes beyond this. I think the agenda here is nationalizing law enforcement just as they've nationalized health care, education, media, environment, oil/gas/coal production, etc. Obama has already started the ball rolling by insinuating that the police are the problem (not the black rioters, drug dealers, looters, arsonists, crooks, etc), and has suggested enacting federal laws that train law enforcement to be more attuned to and understanding of black "plight". In other words it's law enforcement's job to "make friends" with black communities. His $75M for body cameras is a joke. The soul purpose of that is to control and punish the cops.
Remember in his 2007 campaign he said we needed a civilian military as well funded, armed and manned as the national military? By nationalizing law enforcement, his goal could very well be achieved.
I think it's time to acknowledge that the bulk of racial problems in this country are not due to white racism, it's due to the hip hop, in your face, drug infested, gang infested, criminal culture that's grown out of the inner city. Is it any wonder that responsible whites and blacks are afraid of the violence that could be directed at them at any moment for any reason?
Let's not forget that the big losers in today's racial unrest are the responsible, productive, patriotic blacks who want to live in peace and see their kids get the same opportunity. Good luck with that.

This Israeli doctor says Obama has a mental disorder. Labels him a
pathological narcissist and there is no greater insanity than electing one as President said Dr. Sam Vaknin who is an Israeli psychologist.
Dr. Sam Vaknin States, "I must confess I was impressed by Obama from the
first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident, a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.
Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such quasi "religious" impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with Zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming.
Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite
ignorant on most important subjects. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the "Malignant Self Love," believes Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist. Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest friends suggest that the man is either
a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).
Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler area few examples of narcissists of our time.
All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created
a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life.
They gave them hope!
They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to
their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse "Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations, "says Vaknin. "Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant two years old. Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia , a
foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father.
At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. "She died of cancer in 1995."
One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological
narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service..The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his codependents. Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to
reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and does not deserve their attention. If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he as no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not aout him.
Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led
to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father. Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still a nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as
important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius
writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?
Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack
conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.
This election was like no other in the history of America . The issues were
insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed.
Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are
simply self-serving and selfish. Obama evidences symptoms of pathological
narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined.
This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological
narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous. Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks voted for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig
their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This
will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support.
I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to
levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's. Obama will set the clock back decades. America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America , and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists, and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction.

a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life.
They gave them hope!
They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to
their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse "Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations, "says Vaknin. "Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant two years old. Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia , a
foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father.
At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. "She died of cancer in 1995."
One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological
narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service..The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his codependents. Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to
reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and does not deserve their attention. If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he as no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not aout him.
Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led
to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father. Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still a nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as
important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius
writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?
Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack
conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.
This election was like no other in the history of America . The issues were
insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed.
Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are
simply self-serving and selfish. Obama evidences symptoms of pathological
narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined.
This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological
narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous. Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks voted for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig
their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This
will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support.
I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to
levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's. Obama will set the clock back decades. America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America , and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists, and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction.
There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as
president.

The Obama administration is reportedly attempting to bypass congressional ratification for an international move called a “sweeping international climate change agreement.”
According to The New York Times, Obama is preparing to hammer out this climate change agreement to “compel nations to cut their planet-warming fossil fuel emissions” ahead of a 2015 UN summit meeting in Paris.
Calling it a “politically binding” agreement, Obama is reportedly working with foreign operatives to create a “name and shame” program that would pressure nations into conforming to the new global warming limits. But such an agreement would not normally have any force of law on the United States unless two-thirds of the Senate vote to join the treaty.
But it does not appear that Obama has any intentions of submitting the plan to the Senate for official ratification.
Obama intends to claim that some of the new requirements are only an “update” to the 1992 climate treaty, meaning that he feels he doesn’t have to officially submit the new requirements to Congress.
It would also be in keeping with Obama’s practice to use his powers to regulate with agencies such as the EPA and merely mandate changes without any involvement of Congress.
As the Times points out:
In seeking to go around Congress to push his international climate change agenda, Mr. Obama is echoing his domestic climate strategy. In June, he bypassed Congress and used his executive authority to order a far-reaching regulation forcing American coal-fired power plants to curb their carbon emissions. That regulation, which would not be final until next year, already faces legal challenges, including a lawsuit filed on behalf of a dozen states.
But, as in most of the other global warming schemes, they are meaningless if only the U.S. and Europe abide by them. If China, India, and nations in South and Central America ignore them, all the efforts of the Western nations are pointless. For years, even Europe has repeatedly missed goals and shorted treaties on global warming.
A recent study, for instance, found that Germany would miss its 2050 climate change goals, and they are not alone. In fact, most of the European Union is falling far short of goals set in treaty after treaty, and all are having trouble making energy markets work.

What is America About
Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in
other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about -
yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in
the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our
current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few
lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions
of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
And here's another one worth considering...
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run
out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps
running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked
for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it.....

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our
military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but
we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Raising Hillary
Subject: Raising Hillary
Wes: The left wing media's in a quandary. Or is that a quagmire? Anyway I just want to be helpful.
The media is having a tough time figuring out how to support Hillary for president without being critical of their last dumb choice, Hussein Obama. To make it even more difficult Hillary has come out and openly criticized the hapless president for his foreign affairs blunders. (She was much more understanding and supportive of her husbands "domestic affair " blunders). I thought the least I could do was offer some suggestions cause it's difficult for the left wing media to come up with ideas of their own. You know, they're so used to doing whatever the liberals tell them to do.
First of all they can't call the president ignorant and incompetent since they're the ones who put him in office. Besides, he's probably just as smart as any other Ivy League graduate. To get through this hurdle they should play the "poor little Barry" card. Here was this young, inexperienced black messiah apprentice who was not ready for a job more demanding than working at a valet parking garage, and they forced the White House on him. It's their fault he's a failure, not "poor little Barry's".
Another tactic could be tied to his lack of political experience and an empty rolodex of influential insiders he could name to important cabinet and department head positions. After all, the only influential people Barry knew were revolutionaries, Marxists, Muslims, crooks and other assorted white America haters. How in the world could he have been expected to pick a qualified administration from a group of people whose ambition was to overthrow the government? Thankfully, Hillary's rolodex is full and running over.
And all those vacations, golf outings and fund raising trips? Think about it. If you were married to his wife wouldn't you stay away from home as much as possible? It's really her fault that he couldn't devote adequate time to actually functioning as a president. Blame Michelle, not Hillary or poor little Barry.
They can't insinuate that Hillary is smarter than Obama nor that they made a mistake not supporting her campaign in '08. After all, they promoted him as the smartest man in the world. Obviously they were so taken in by Hussein's charisma, speaking ability, skin color, pants crease, and ability to cause tingling up and down their leg that they became mesmerized and did him a great disservice by forcing victory upon him before he was ready. Of course they'd readily admit that he's more than ready now after 8 years of OTJ training, but unfortunately he's restricted to only 2 measly terms. Thank goodness they've got Hillary in the wings.
And last but not least, they should do all they can to get a TEA Party nominee for the republicans. Then the RNC and the rest of the establishment republicans would amass their resources and help get Hillary elected

THE FUTURE OF AMERICA
THE FUTURE OF AMERICA, ISRAEL & THE MIDDLE EAST IN LIGHT OF THE SCRIPTURES
Good morning. It is an honor to be back in Iowa, and to address The Family Leadership Summit. Thanks to Bob Vander Plaats and his team for inviting me back, especially at a time of great crisis for our country, and for Israel and our allies in the Middle East, who are facing a jihadist rampage.
When I was here for the first Summit in 2012, I made two simple points.
I’d like to recap them here because I think they remain relevant for where we are as a nation two years later. And then I’d like to add a third point for this year.
America is not simply in decline. We are on the road to collapse, on the road to implosion.
We must all ask ourselves a critically important question: “Is America at a Jonah moment, or a Nahum moment?”
What happens if — on top of all our nation’s challenges and sins — America abandons or turns against Israel?
I’m so grateful that Bob and his team are doing all they can to call Iowans and all Americans to pray and fast and seek the Lord for a Third Great Awakening. We need this more than ever.
Let me now share a bit more on each point.
1. America is not simply in decline. We are heading for collapse, for implosion.
There are many reasons for this, including a massive and crushing national debt with no end in sight, the implosion of families through divorce and out-of-wedlock-birth and the assault on traditional marriage, violent crime, drug use, pornography and so forth. I wrote about this in more detail in my 2012 non-fiction book, Implosion: Can America Recover From Its Economic & Spiritual Challenges In Time?, so I won’t take the time today to go through each of these issues in detail.
But I do want to discuss one threat above all: America faces the implosion because we face divine judgment for murdering so many unborn children.
Several years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz, the Nazi death camp in Poland. As I stood in an actual gas chamber that was used to systematically murder so many Jews, political prisoners and others, it was a horrifying experience. I’m Gentile on my mother’s side, and Jewish on my father’s side, and standing there thinking about how the Nazis created these murder factories to kill six million Jews was one of the most painful experiences of my life.
But as I stood in that gas chamber, I could not help but think of how my own country, America — a country I love so dearly — has created murder factories to kill millions of people, as well. I was born in 1967. In my lifetime — since 1973 — the American people have legally murdered more than 55 million babies. If this is not stopped soon, we will reach 60 million. Think about that. If we really get to the point that our nation has systematically murdered 60 million human beings, we will have murdered 10 times more people than the Nazis killed of the Jews.
Now we know how God judged Germany and the Nazi regime through a crushing defeat in World War II, and we believe that the Nazis deserved such judgment. What do we think is going to happen if continue to murder millions of children? We are going to face the judgment of God. It is extraordinary that it hasn’t happened already.
There is hope, but we are running out of time. We could repent as a nation. We could turn from our wicked ways, plead with God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive our sins, and plead with Him to heal our land.
The Bible says, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
This was specifically a promise given to the nation of Israel in the Old Testament. But it is a principle we can apply today. We could plead with God for forgiveness, and He could grant it. He could give us a sweeping series of revivals that could culminate in a Third Great Awakening, with hundreds of millions of Americans — beginning with the Church — repenting of our sins, turning to Christ, praying, fasting, reading God’s Word and seeking to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is possible. There is hope. But again, we are running out of time.
But let’s be clear: Without a revival, we are on the road to implosion. Indeed, the threat of implosion is far beyond what the next President can solve alone — we desperately need a Third Great Awakening.
2. We must all ask ourselves a critically important question: “Is America at a Jonah moment, or a Nahum moment?”
In the Old Testament book of Jonah, the Hebrew prophet was sent by the Lord to the wicked city of Nineveh — the capital of the Assyrian empire — in order to preach a message of imminent judgment. Let’s not focus for the moment on the fact that Jonah didn’t want to obey the Lord and preach this messsage, and thus fled on a ship headed in the other direction.
For now, let’s focus on the fact that when Jonah finally did obey the Lord and did start preaching in Ninevah, he didn’t call the people to repentance. Rather, Jonah declared, “Forty days and Ninevah will be overthrown.” (Jonah 3:4) However, even though Jonah never called the people to plead to the One True God of Israel to have mercy on their souls and on their city, even though Jonah never called on the people to beg for forgiveness and turn away from their wickedness, that is, in fact, exactly what the Ninevites did.
The text says: “Then the people of Ninevah believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them. When the word reached the king of Ninevah, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat on the ashes. He issued a proclamation and it said, ‘In Ninevah by the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let man, beast, herd, or flock taste a thing. Do not let them eat or drink water. But both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth; and let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands. Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we shall not perish?’” (Jonah 3:5-9)
Sure enough, the Lord heard the earnest prayers of the people — and their king — as they repented, and He relented. “When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.” The promised judgment did not come. The people and their city were spared from God’s wrath. What an extraordinary moment. The pagan people heard the word of the Lord and it burned in their hearts. They believed God’s word, pleaded for mercy, and the Lord gave them mercy, even though He had never indicated that He would do so.
But this was not the only time the word of the Lord came to the people of Ninevah.
Many years later, the next generation of Ninevites had abandoned the Lord and fallen back into tremendous evil, violence, bloodshed, lies, sorcery and other wickedness. In the Old Testament book of Nahum, we read that the Lord again spoke to the people of Ninevah, this time through a different Hebrew prophet, this one named Nahum. Yet this time the people of Ninevah did not repent. They did not listen to God’s word. They did not plead for mercy. They did not turn from their wicked ways and start praying, fasting and begging God for mercy. And thus, mercy did not come. Instead, the judgment of God came upon the people, and in 612 B.C. the city of Ninevah was utterly destroyed.
Today we as Americans must confront this question: Is America in a “Jonah” moment, or a “Nahum” moment? That is, will we hear the word of the Lord that we have strayed far from the teachings of the Bible and allowed our land to become polluted with abortions and pornography and violence and wickedness of all kinds? Will we admit how far we are from God’s plan and purpose for our lives? Will we confess that our hearts are far from Jesus Christ and plead with the Lord for His mercy and grace and forgiveness? Will we fast and pray and earnestly seek God’s face, and implore Christ to give us a Third Great Awakening? Or will we ignore the word of the Lord and continue in our sins and watch our nation continue to decline, or even implode?
Twice in American history we have seen sweeping spiritual revivals known as the Great Awakening and the Second Great Awakening, respectively. Millions of Americans repented of their sins during those seasons, became devout followers of Jesus Christ, began to read the Bible voraciously and to obey the word of the Lord. Nowhere in Scripture, however, has America been promised a spiritual revival in the 21st century, much less one that would be so sweeping, so game-changing that it would qualify as a Third Great Awakening. But who knows? Perhaps the Lord will show us tremendous mercy and forgiveness if we all humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways? However, if we don’t repent and turn back to the Lord Jesus Christ, we may very well consign ourselves to suffer the fate of the Ninevites during the time of Nahum.
3. What happens if — on top of all our nation’s challenges and sins — America abandons or turns against Israel?
The fate of America, Israel and the Middle East are inextricably linked for three reasons.
Consider three passages of Scripture:
Genesis 12:3 — In Genesis 12, the Lord God chooses Abram, calls him out of Ur of the Chaldees (located in modern-day Iraq, 220 miles southeast of Baghdad) to go to “a land that I will show you,” which turns out to be the land later called Israel. The Lord promises to bless Abram, and through him bless “all the families of the earth.” Specifically in 12:3, the Lord says, “I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse.And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” As one reads through the rest of the book of Genesis, it becomes clear that this promise from God is passed down from Abram (who is later named Abraham) to Isaac to Jacob (later named Israel) and then to Jacob’s descendants, Israel and the Jewish people. Thus, the Lord is making clear that those who bless Israel and the Jewish people He will bless, and those who curse them He will curse. If America turns against or abandons Israel and the Jews after being their closest friend and ally for so many decades, God warns He will bring judgment upon us.
Joel 3:1-2 — In the first chapter of the book written by the Hebrew prophet Joel, the Lord warns the Israelites and “all inhabitants of the land” that they need to “wake up” from their physical and spiritual drunkenness, stupor and wandering from the Lord. In the second chapter, the Lord also calls the people to pray and fast and humbly seek God’s forgiveness and favor because “the Day of the Lord is coming.” In the third chapter, the Lord says that before the “Day of the Lord” (the tribulation and the Second Coming), the Lord will “restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem.” In the context of other prophecies in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and other Hebrew prophets, we know this means Israel will be miraculously reborn as a nation, the Jews will return to the land of Israel and Judah and to Jerusalem after centuries of exile, and that the Lord will use the Jewish people to rebuild the ancient ruins of their ancient homeland and build a nation of prosperity and security.
Consider the specific passage of chapter 3, verses one and two: “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.”
The Lord specifically warns that “all the nations” who “have divided up My land” will be judged by the God of Israel.
Tragically, the United States is leading the league in trying to divide the land of Israel.
This process was formalized under President George W. Bush who officially called for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state, which would divide the land of Israel. “I was the first American President to call for a Palestinian state, and building support for the two-state solution has been one of the highest priorities of my Presidency,” said President Bush.
President Obama and his administration have continued the Bush policy and pushed hard for Israeli leaders to divide the land. “It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of their own,” President Obama told hundreds of Israeli students in a speech in Jerusalem. “Palestinians have a right to be free people in their own land.”
Creating a sovereign Palestinian state may sound like wisdom to many. But in the Bible, God specifically says He will judge every nation that divides up the land of Israel. Thus, speaking the truth in love, we must not encourage world leaders to take actions that will lead to the judgment of their nations. Rather, we must advise them not to go down that road.
No president or prime minister has the right to divide the land of Israel in defiance of God’s Word.
That said, the Bible also repeatedly tells Israel to love and bless and treat well those who live in their country. This is repeated over and over again in the Old Testament and the New. Just because the Bible does not allow the creation of another sovereign state in the land of Israel doesn’t mean Palestinians should be mistreated, or endangered, or oppressed in any way, shape or form. To the contrary, God loves the Palestinians. We must love the Palestinians. Israelis must love the Palestinians. Thus, Palestinians living in the West Bank should absolutely have the opportunity and freedom to run their own day-to-day affairs, their economy, education, infrastructure, transportation, health care, communications, police and courts, and so forth.
Psalm 122:6-9 — This passage reads, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.’ For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, ‘May peace be within you.’ For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.”
Clearly, people all over the world, including in America, need to:
pray for peace in Jerusalem, Israel and the broader Middle East
pray for Jews and Arabs in the epicenter
love Jews and Arabs in the epicenter
seek the good of Jews and Arabs in the epicenter
The Lord promises to bless and “prosper” those who do.
CONCLUSION
If a nation follows these principles — if they love and bless Israel and the Jewish people, and do not divide the land of Israel, and love and pray for Jews and Arabs in Jerusalem and seek their good — then God will love and bless and show mercy to such a nation.
But if a nation violates these principles — especially chronically and consistently — then there will be a day of reckoning.
The question is: What do we want, a blessing or a curse, mercy or judgment?
Overall, most Americans are very supportive of Israel and find many ways to love and bless her, as well as the Arabs and others in Israel and the Middle East. This is good.
But there are a growing number of voices who say it is time to:
cut off military aid to Israel, boycott Israel, divest from Israel, sanction Israel, and/or turn against Israel once and for all. Some do so because of anti-Semitism, others out of a belief in isolationism, and others because of ignorance.
Given the high stakes, one of the things we need to do is teach people about God’s love and plan and purpose for Israel and the Jewish people, and why this matters to America. We need to help more people — including our leaders and future leaders — understand why America’s fate is inextricably linked with how we treat Israel and the Jewish people, as well as her neighbors.
I would encourage you to study Genesis 12 through 17, in particular, on your own more carefully.
You will see how the Lord unfolds the Abrahamic Covenant, piece by piece, step by step, including the fact that this is an “everlasting covenant” (Genesis 17:7) and thus cannot be broken or abrogated, and that the Lord has given the land of Israel as an “everlasting possession” (Genesis 17:8).

Good morning. It is an honor to be back in Iowa, and to address The Family Leadership Summit. Thanks to Bob Vander Plaats and his team for inviting me back, especially at a time of great crisis for our country, and for Israel and our allies in the Middle East, who are facing a jihadist rampage.
When I was here for the first Summit in 2012, I made two simple points.
I’d like to recap them here because I think they remain relevant for where we are as a nation two years later. And then I’d like to add a third point for this year.
America is not simply in decline. We are on the road to collapse, on the road to implosion.
We must all ask ourselves a critically important question: “Is America at a Jonah moment, or a Nahum moment?”
What happens if — on top of all our nation’s challenges and sins — America abandons or turns against Israel?
I’m so grateful that Bob and his team are doing all they can to call Iowans and all Americans to pray and fast and seek the Lord for a Third Great Awakening. We need this more than ever.
Let me now share a bit more on each point.
1. America is not simply in decline. We are heading for collapse, for implosion.
There are many reasons for this, including a massive and crushing national debt with no end in sight, the implosion of families through divorce and out-of-wedlock-birth and the assault on traditional marriage, violent crime, drug use, pornography and so forth. I wrote about this in more detail in my 2012 non-fiction book, Implosion: Can America Recover From Its Economic & Spiritual Challenges In Time?, so I won’t take the time today to go through each of these issues in detail.
But I do want to discuss one threat above all: America faces the implosion because we face divine judgment for murdering so many unborn children.
Several years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz, the Nazi death camp in Poland. As I stood in an actual gas chamber that was used to systematically murder so many Jews, political prisoners and others, it was a horrifying experience. I’m Gentile on my mother’s side, and Jewish on my father’s side, and standing there thinking about how the Nazis created these murder factories to kill six million Jews was one of the most painful experiences of my life.
But as I stood in that gas chamber, I could not help but think of how my own country, America — a country I love so dearly — has created murder factories to kill millions of people, as well. I was born in 1967. In my lifetime — since 1973 — the American people have legally murdered more than 55 million babies. If this is not stopped soon, we will reach 60 million. Think about that. If we really get to the point that our nation has systematically murdered 60 million human beings, we will have murdered 10 times more people than the Nazis killed of the Jews.
Now we know how God judged Germany and the Nazi regime through a crushing defeat in World War II, and we believe that the Nazis deserved such judgment. What do we think is going to happen if continue to murder millions of children? We are going to face the judgment of God. It is extraordinary that it hasn’t happened already.
There is hope, but we are running out of time. We could repent as a nation. We could turn from our wicked ways, plead with God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive our sins, and plead with Him to heal our land.
The Bible says, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
This was specifically a promise given to the nation of Israel in the Old Testament. But it is a principle we can apply today. We could plead with God for forgiveness, and He could grant it. He could give us a sweeping series of revivals that could culminate in a Third Great Awakening, with hundreds of millions of Americans — beginning with the Church — repenting of our sins, turning to Christ, praying, fasting, reading God’s Word and seeking to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is possible. There is hope. But again, we are running out of time.
But let’s be clear: Without a revival, we are on the road to implosion. Indeed, the threat of implosion is far beyond what the next President can solve alone — we desperately need a Third Great Awakening.
2. We must all ask ourselves a critically important question: “Is America at a Jonah moment, or a Nahum moment?”
In the Old Testament book of Jonah, the Hebrew prophet was sent by the Lord to the wicked city of Nineveh — the capital of the Assyrian empire — in order to preach a message of imminent judgment. Let’s not focus for the moment on the fact that Jonah didn’t want to obey the Lord and preach this messsage, and thus fled on a ship headed in the other direction.
For now, let’s focus on the fact that when Jonah finally did obey the Lord and did start preaching in Ninevah, he didn’t call the people to repentance. Rather, Jonah declared, “Forty days and Ninevah will be overthrown.” (Jonah 3:4) However, even though Jonah never called the people to plead to the One True God of Israel to have mercy on their souls and on their city, even though Jonah never called on the people to beg for forgiveness and turn away from their wickedness, that is, in fact, exactly what the Ninevites did.
The text says: “Then the people of Ninevah believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them. When the word reached the king of Ninevah, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat on the ashes. He issued a proclamation and it said, ‘In Ninevah by the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let man, beast, herd, or flock taste a thing. Do not let them eat or drink water. But both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth; and let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands. Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we shall not perish?’” (Jonah 3:5-9)
Sure enough, the Lord heard the earnest prayers of the people — and their king — as they repented, and He relented. “When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.” The promised judgment did not come. The people and their city were spared from God’s wrath. What an extraordinary moment. The pagan people heard the word of the Lord and it burned in their hearts. They believed God’s word, pleaded for mercy, and the Lord gave them mercy, even though He had never indicated that He would do so.
But this was not the only time the word of the Lord came to the people of Ninevah.
Many years later, the next generation of Ninevites had abandoned the Lord and fallen back into tremendous evil, violence, bloodshed, lies, sorcery and other wickedness. In the Old Testament book of Nahum, we read that the Lord again spoke to the people of Ninevah, this time through a different Hebrew prophet, this one named Nahum. Yet this time the people of Ninevah did not repent. They did not listen to God’s word. They did not plead for mercy. They did not turn from their wicked ways and start praying, fasting and begging God for mercy. And thus, mercy did not come. Instead, the judgment of God came upon the people, and in 612 B.C. the city of Ninevah was utterly destroyed.
Today we as Americans must confront this question: Is America in a “Jonah” moment, or a “Nahum” moment? That is, will we hear the word of the Lord that we have strayed far from the teachings of the Bible and allowed our land to become polluted with abortions and pornography and violence and wickedness of all kinds? Will we admit how far we are from God’s plan and purpose for our lives? Will we confess that our hearts are far from Jesus Christ and plead with the Lord for His mercy and grace and forgiveness? Will we fast and pray and earnestly seek God’s face, and implore Christ to give us a Third Great Awakening? Or will we ignore the word of the Lord and continue in our sins and watch our nation continue to decline, or even implode?
Twice in American history we have seen sweeping spiritual revivals known as the Great Awakening and the Second Great Awakening, respectively. Millions of Americans repented of their sins during those seasons, became devout followers of Jesus Christ, began to read the Bible voraciously and to obey the word of the Lord. Nowhere in Scripture, however, has America been promised a spiritual revival in the 21st century, much less one that would be so sweeping, so game-changing that it would qualify as a Third Great Awakening. But who knows? Perhaps the Lord will show us tremendous mercy and forgiveness if we all humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways? However, if we don’t repent and turn back to the Lord Jesus Christ, we may very well consign ourselves to suffer the fate of the Ninevites during the time of Nahum.
3. What happens if — on top of all our nation’s challenges and sins — America abandons or turns against Israel?
The fate of America, Israel and the Middle East are inextricably linked for three reasons.
Consider three passages of Scripture:
Genesis 12:3 — In Genesis 12, the Lord God chooses Abram, calls him out of Ur of the Chaldees (located in modern-day Iraq, 220 miles southeast of Baghdad) to go to “a land that I will show you,” which turns out to be the land later called Israel. The Lord promises to bless Abram, and through him bless “all the families of the earth.” Specifically in 12:3, the Lord says, “I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse.And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” As one reads through the rest of the book of Genesis, it becomes clear that this promise from God is passed down from Abram (who is later named Abraham) to Isaac to Jacob (later named Israel) and then to Jacob’s descendants, Israel and the Jewish people. Thus, the Lord is making clear that those who bless Israel and the Jewish people He will bless, and those who curse them He will curse. If America turns against or abandons Israel and the Jews after being their closest friend and ally for so many decades, God warns He will bring judgment upon us.
Joel 3:1-2 — In the first chapter of the book written by the Hebrew prophet Joel, the Lord warns the Israelites and “all inhabitants of the land” that they need to “wake up” from their physical and spiritual drunkenness, stupor and wandering from the Lord. In the second chapter, the Lord also calls the people to pray and fast and humbly seek God’s forgiveness and favor because “the Day of the Lord is coming.” In the third chapter, the Lord says that before the “Day of the Lord” (the tribulation and the Second Coming), the Lord will “restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem.” In the context of other prophecies in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and other Hebrew prophets, we know this means Israel will be miraculously reborn as a nation, the Jews will return to the land of Israel and Judah and to Jerusalem after centuries of exile, and that the Lord will use the Jewish people to rebuild the ancient ruins of their ancient homeland and build a nation of prosperity and security.
Consider the specific passage of chapter 3, verses one and two: “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.”
The Lord specifically warns that “all the nations” who “have divided up My land” will be judged by the God of Israel.
Tragically, the United States is leading the league in trying to divide the land of Israel.
This process was formalized under President George W. Bush who officially called for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state, which would divide the land of Israel. “I was the first American President to call for a Palestinian state, and building support for the two-state solution has been one of the highest priorities of my Presidency,” said President Bush.
President Obama and his administration have continued the Bush policy and pushed hard for Israeli leaders to divide the land. “It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of their own,” President Obama told hundreds of Israeli students in a speech in Jerusalem. “Palestinians have a right to be free people in their own land.”
Creating a sovereign Palestinian state may sound like wisdom to many. But in the Bible, God specifically says He will judge every nation that divides up the land of Israel. Thus, speaking the truth in love, we must not encourage world leaders to take actions that will lead to the judgment of their nations. Rather, we must advise them not to go down that road.
No president or prime minister has the right to divide the land of Israel in defiance of God’s Word.
That said, the Bible also repeatedly tells Israel to love and bless and treat well those who live in their country. This is repeated over and over again in the Old Testament and the New. Hillary in which he introduces the commercial by saying he wants
to share some things we may not know about Hillary’s background,
beware as I was there for most of their presidency and know them
better than just about anyone. I offer a few corrections:
Bill says: "In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor."
The facts are: Hillary’s main extra-curricular activity in
'Law School' was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut
for torturing and killing a 'Federal Agent'. She went to Court every day
as part of a Law student monitoring committee trying to spot civil rights
violations and develop grounds for appeal.
Bill says: "Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a
Children's rights project for poor kids."
The facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehart, the head of the
California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the
Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship
with him.
Bill says: "Hillary could have written her own job ticket,
but she turned down all the lucrative job offers."
The facts are: She flunked the D.C. bar exam,
'Yes', flunked it, it is a matter of record, and only passed
the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in Arkansas,
'None', and only got hired by the University of Arkansas
Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching
there. She did not join the prestigious Rose Law Firm
until Bill became Arkansas Attorney General and was made
a partner only after he was elected Arkansas Governor.
Bill says: "President Carter appointed Hillary to the
Legal Services Board of Directors and she became
its Chairman."
The facts are: The appointment was in exchange for
Bill's support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy.
Hillary then became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority
away from Carter's choice to be chairman.
Bill says: "She served on the board of the Arkansas Children's Hospital."
The facts are: Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill,
was to sit on the Wal-Mart Board of Directors, for a substantial fee.
She was silent about their labor and health care practices.
Bill says: "Hillary didn't succeed at getting health care for all Americans i
n 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children's Health
Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health
insurance."
The facts are: Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP.
It was included in the budget deal between Clinton and Republican
Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott. I know; I helped to negotiate the deal.
The money came half from the budget deal and half from the
Attorney Generals' tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with
either source of funds.
Bill says: "Hillary was the face of America all over the World." (LOL)?????
The facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town s
o that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was
running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and
symbolic and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them.
Bill says: "Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for
Children's and Women's issues."
The facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing
the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four
substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico.
A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives
through Alzheimer’s or other conditions. And two were routine bills
to aid 911 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire
N.Y. delegation. Presently she is trying to have the US memorialize Woodstock.
Here is what bothers me more than anything else about Hillary Clinton.
She has done everything possible to weaken the President
and our Country (that's you and me!) when it comes to the 'War on Terror'.
1. She wants to close GITMO and move the combatants to the USA
where they would have access to our legal system.
2. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone
calls to/from the USA.
3. She wants to grant constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured
on the battlefield.
4. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between
suspected Al Qaeda cells and supporters in the USA.
5. She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the
Military & CIA where coercion might be used when questioning known
terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.
One cannot think of a single 'Bill', Hillary has introduced or a single
comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our Country in
the 'War on Terror'. But, one can think of a lot of comments she has
made that weaken our Country and makes it a more dangerous situation
for all of us.
Bottom line: She goes hand in hand with the ACLU on far too many issues
where common sense is abandoned.
Share this with everyone you know, ask them to prove Dick Morris wrong.

Obama's Trash
Quit trashing Obama's
accomplishments. He has done more than any other
President before him. Here is a list of his impressive
accomplishments:
First President to apply
for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a
foreigner.
First President to have a
social security number from a state he has never lived in.
First President to preside
over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States .
First President to violate
the War Powers Act.

why oh why
Why are so many plagues hitting the United States all of a sudden? Yes, one can always point out bad stuff that is happening somewhere in the country, but right now we are facing a nightmarish combination of crippling drought, devastating wildfires, disastrous viruses, dying crops and superbugs that scientists don’t know how to kill. And as you will see, we even have a plague of flies down in Mississippi. So what in the world is going on? Is this just a case of bad luck, or is something else happening? At the conclusion of this article, please feel free to tell me what you think. The following are ten plagues that are hitting America right now…
#1 The Plague Of Flies In The Upper Mississippi River Valley
This is perhaps the least dangerous plague, but it is also one of the most interesting. Just recently, a plague of flies was so thick in the upper Mississippi River valley that it showed up on radar…
The mayflies were detectable on radar around 845 pm and reports in the towns and cities began rolling in of the swarming and piles of mayflies. Numerous videos and pictures were circulating on social media, some of which are posted below as well.
The radar detected the flies about 845 pm, emanating from the river (the source) with echo values similar to that of light-moderate rain (35-40 dBZ). With a general south-to-north wind flow above the surface, the mayflies quickly moved north once in the air. As the flies dispersed moving north-northeast, they also gained altitude with some of the echo being detected as far north as Black River Falls and as high as 2500 feet above ground.
By late evening, mayflies were swarming in La Crosse, La Crescent, Stoddard and points up and down the river. While the emergence of mayflies from their river bottom mud dwelling can occur at various times through the warm season depending on the species, this particular emergence was that of the larger black/brown Bilineata species.

#2 The Chikungunya Virus
As I wrote about the other day, down in Florida health officials have discovered the very first confirmed cases of the chikungunya virus to be transmitted locally. In other words, it is now being passed to people that have not even traveled out of the country.
An epidemic of the virus has already been declared down in Puerto Rico, and authorities are deeply concerned about the possibility of one up here as well.
Already, cases of the virus have been reported in 30 different states and the total number of cases in the U.S. is more than five times higher than in any other recent year.
If you live in an area that has a lot of mosquitos, you might want to be very, very careful right about now because this is a virus that is exceedingly painful…
With illness onset, the person develops high fever, chills, and joint pain, followed in some by a rash on the trunk, limbs and face lasting 3-4 days. Muscle and joint pain last about one week. Joint pain is often severe and in some people lasts longer, up to several months.

The massive wildfires in Washington, Oregon and western Canada have spread clouds of smoke over vast areas of the northwest United States in recent days. The following excerpt comes from a recent CNN report…
Wildfires spanning almost 170,000 acres are driving hundreds of people from their homes in Washington state and across the border in Canada, officials said.
Washington authorities say the fires surged overnight to 168,713 acres in the state. The flames have encroached on towns.
Janet Pearce of the Washington state Department of Natural Resources said the four fires had not been contained as of Friday morning. An estimated 80 homes were destroyed and cell phone service was knocked out.

The nightmarish multi-year drought in the state of California just continues to get even worse.
This week it was reported that 81 percent of California is now experiencing “extreme drought” or worse.
Three months ago, that number was just 68 percent.
And we are being told that downtown Los Angeles is now the driest that it has been since rain records began in 1877.

Florida’s citrus crop this year is the lowest it’s been in 30 years, and agricultural authorities have continued to lowertheir production estimates. Orange-juice prices are up nearly 20% this year alone and will continue to rise. The disease was a major factor in the lime shortage that made the price of a box of Persian limes jump from $18 to $85 last December. Prices could jump higher for oranges. Researchers and growers say that if a cure isn’t found, the entire $9 billion Florida citrus industry could be destroyed.

You bananas are not safe either.
According to CNBC, the TR4 fungus is spreading so rapidly that it could eventually totally wipe out the variety of bananas that we find in our grocery stores today…
Banana lovers take note: The world’s supply of the fruit is under attack from a fungus strain that could wipe out the popular variety that Americans eat.
“It’s a very serious situation,” said Randy Ploetz, a professor of plant pathology at the University of Florida who in 1989 originally discovered a strain of Panama disease, called TR4, that may be growing into a serious threat to U.S. supplies of the fruit and Latin American producers.
“There’s nothing at this point that really keeps the fungus from spreading,” he said in an interview with CNBC.
While there are nearly 1,000 varieties of bananas, the most popular is the Cavendish, which accounts for 45 percent of the fruit’s global crop—and the one Americans mostly find in their supermarkets.

For a long time, scientists tried to deny that the number of earthquakes is increasing.
But now, the USGS is finally admitting that the number of big earthquakes has doubled…
If you think there have been more earthquakes than usual this year, you’re right. A new study finds there were more than twice as many big earthquakes in the first quarter of 2014 as compared with the average since 1979.
“We have recently experienced a period that has had one of the highest rates of great earthquakes ever recorded,” said lead study author Tom Parsons, a research geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in Menlo Park, California.
Fortunately, most of the earthquakes in the U.S. so far this year have been relatively small or have been in isolated areas.
But they have been popping up in very unusual areas (such as Oklahoma), and as seismic activity along the Ring of Fire continues to increase, it is probably only a matter of time before one of our major cities gets hit with a major tragedy.

Thanks at least in part to the massive overuse of antibiotics, a new generation of superbugs is arising. Scientists have no way to kill these superbugs, and according to experts they are finding their way “into healthcare facilities nationwide”…
Drug-resistant superbug infections have reached near-epidemic levels across U.S. hospitals, with an alarming 500% increase now documented in a study just published in the August issue of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology(the journal of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America).
Lead author of the study, Dr. Joshua Thaden, warned “This dangerous bacteria is finding its way into healthcare facilities nationwide… A CRE epidemic is fast approaching… Even this marked increase likely underestimates the true scope of the problem given variations in hospital surveillance practices.”
The study also found that an astonishing 94 percent of CRE infections were caused by healthcare activities or hospital procedures.

The Fukushima nuclear disaster is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Hundreds of tons of radioactive water are being released into the Pacific on a continual basis, and this could potentially affect our oceans and our food chain for generations to come.

Since December 2011, I have conducted thyroid ultrasound examinations, thyroid function tests, general blood tests and biochemical tests on about 2000 people, mostly families in the Tokyo metropolitan area expressing concerns on the effects of radiation. I have observed that white blood cells, especially neutrophils, are decreasing among children under the age of 10. There are cases of significant decline in the number of neutrophils in 0-1 year-olds born after the earthquake (<1000). In both cases, conditions tend to improve by moving to Western Japan (Neutrophils 0–>4500). Patients report nosebleed, hair loss, lack of energy, subcutaneous bleeding, visible urinary hemorrhage, skin inflammations, coughs and various other non-specific symptoms.
And this Japanese doctor believes that things are so dire that he says that the entire city of Tokyo should be evacuated…
Residents of Tokyo are unfortunately not in the position to pity the affected regions of Tohoku because they are victims themselves. Time is running short. I took an earlier step forward and evacuated to the west. My fellow doctors of medicine, I am waiting for you here. The Great Society
If the U.S. Gov. spent as much time, money and resources on solving our national debt, as it has on trying to implement the ACA., we would be on our way to solvency again. Five years of research, 20,000 pages of regulations Who wrote it? Unknown. Where was it written? Behind closed doors. For what purpose? To provide further entitlements. For whom? Those who cannot afford it. At what benefit? To increase the burden of those who can afford it. At what cost? Well over two trillion dollars. Does it work? Not yet. Why doesn’t it work? The websites are down. That’s it? It will work. When? We do not know. Will more money have to be sucked into this money pit? Yes. Why? So we can get it going. Why? To provide healthcare for the nation. Does the nation have healthcare now? Yes. How could we improve on something that is already working? Provide entitlement for the uninsurable and the needy. How? By giving them healthcare. How? By taxing the working man, and fining those who don’t participate, and cutting the care for those who can afford it. Do we not already do that? Yes, we need to raise more money for the budget. Why? So congress can have a 35% raise each year. So we just impoverish the middle class? Yes. Why? So we can conceal a tax hike and give a community organizer something to do.

A "deadly" article regarding Obama, at the Wall Street
Journal, which today is the most widely circulated newspaper in America.

"I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he's led a
kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened
because at some point early on somebody or some group (George Soros anybody?)
took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with
an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in
politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White
House.
In a very real way, he has been a young man in a very big hurry.
Who else do you know has written two memoirs before the age of 45? "Dreams
of My Father" was published in 1995 when he was only 34 years old. The
"Audacity of Hope" followed in 2006. If, indeed, he did write them himself.
There are some who think that his mentor and friend, Bill Ayers, a man who
calls himself a "communist with a small 'c'" was the real author.
His political skills consisted of rarely voting on anything that
might be deemed controversial. He went from a legislator in the Illinois
legislature to the Senator from that state because he had the good fortune of
having Mayor Daley's formidable political machine at his disposal.
He was in the U.S. Senate so briefly that his bid for the
presidency was either an act of astonishing self-confidence or part of some
greater game plan that had been determined before he first stepped foot in the
Capital. How, many must wonder, was he selected to be a 2004 keynote speaker at
the Democrat convention that nominated John Kerry when virtually no one had
ever even heard of him before?
He outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton in primaries. He took Iowa by
storm. A charming young man, an anomaly in the state with a very small black
population, he oozed "cool" in a place where agriculture was the
antithesis of cool. He dazzled the locals. And he had an army of volunteers
drawn to a charisma that hid any real substance.
And then he had the great good fortune of having the Republicans
select one of the most inept candidates for the presidency since Bob Dole. And
then John Mc Cain did something crazy. He picked Sarah Palin, an unknown female
governor from the very distant state of Alaska. It was a ticket that was
reminiscent of 1984's Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro and they went down
to defeat.
The mainstream political media fell in love with him. It was a
schoolgirl crush with febrile commentators like Chris Mathews swooning then and
now over the man. The venom directed against Mc Cain and, in particular, Palin,
was extraordinary.
Now, 5 full years into his presidency, all of those gilded years
leading up to the White House have left him unprepared to be President. Left to
his own instincts, he has a talent for saying the wrong thing at the wrong
time. It swiftly became a joke that he could not deliver even the briefest of
statements without the ever-present Tele-Prompters.
Far worse, however, is his capacity to want to "wish
away" some terrible realities, not the least of which is the Islamist
intention to destroy America and enslave the West. Any student of history knows
how swiftly Islam initially spread. It knocked on the doors of Europe, having
gained a foothold in Spain.
The great crowds that greeted him at home or on his campaign
"world tour" were no substitute for having even the slightest grasp
of history and the reality of a world filled with really bad people with really
bad intentions.
Oddly and perhaps even inevitably, his political experience, a
cakewalk, has positioned him to destroy the Democrat Party's hold on power in
Congress because in the end it was never about the Party. It was always about
his communist ideology, learned at an early age from family, mentors, college
professors, and extreme leftist friends and colleagues.
Obama is a man who could deliver a snap judgment about a Boston
police officer who arrested an "obstreperous" Harvard
professor-friend, but would warn Americans against "jumping to
conclusions" about a mass murderer at Fort Hood who shouted "Allahu
Akbar." The absurdity of that was lost on no one. He has since compounded
this by calling the Christmas bomber "an isolated extremist" only to
have to admit a day or two later that he was part of an al Qaeda plot.
He is a man who could strive to close down our detention facility
at Guantanamo even though those released were known to have returned to the
battlefield against America. He could even instruct his Attorney General to
afford the perpetrator of 9/11 a civil trial when no one else would ever even
consider such an obscenity. And he is a man who could wait three days before
having anything to say about the perpetrator of yet another terrorist attack on
Americans and then have to elaborate on his remarks the following day because his
first statement was so lame.
The pattern repeats itself. He either blames any problem on the
Bush administration or he naively seeks to wish away the truth.
Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there? Barack Obama exists only
as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the people who have maneuvered and
manufactured this pathetic individual's life.
When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a birth
certificate, this man spent over a million dollars to deny access to his. Most
other documents, the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been
sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe life whose true facts
remain hidden.
We laugh at the ventriloquist's dummy, but what do you do when the

We get no “Merry Christmas” from our president
We get no “Merry Christmas”
from our president, But we are insulted with this, his nit wit comments
about the Muslims.
On behalf of all American people, Michelle and I extend our best
wishes to Muslim communities here in the United States and around the world on
the beginning of the blessed month of
A time for self-reflection and devotion through prayer and fasting, Ramadan is
also an occasion when Muslims around the world reaffirm their commitment to
helping the less fortunate, including those struggling because of economic
hardship and inequality.
Here in the United States, we are
grateful to the many Muslim American organizations, individuals, and businesses
that are devoted to creating opportunity for all by working to reduce income
inequality and poverty, not only through their charitable efforts, but also
through their initiatives to empower students, workers and families with the
education, skills and health care they deserve.
Ramadan also reminds us of our shared responsibility to treat
others as we wish to be treated ourselves and the basic principles that bind
people of different faiths together: a yearning for peace, justice, and
equality. At a moment when too many people around the world continue to suffer
from senseless conflict and violence, this sacred time reminds us of our common
obligations to pursue justice and peace and to uphold the dignity of every
human being.
As I’ve done every year as
President, I look forward to welcoming Muslim Americans from across the United
States to the White House for an iftar dinner. It will be another opportunity
for me to convey America’s appreciation for the contributions of Muslim
Americans to our country and to wish Muslims around the world a month blessed
with the joys of family, community, peace and understanding.

Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make it Harder for Blacks to Succeed, by Jason Riley (Encounter Books, 205 pp., $23.99)
A half-century ago, the Great Society promised to complete the civil rights revolution by pulling African-Americans into the middle class. Today, a substantial black middle class exists, but its primary function has been, ironically, to provide custodial care to a black underclass—one ever more deeply mired in the pathologies of subsidized poverty. In Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make it Harder for Blacks to Succeed, Jason Riley, an editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal who grew up in Buffalo , New York , explains how poverty programs have succeeded politically by failing socially. “Today,” writes Riley, “more than 70 percent of black children are born to unwed mothers. Only 16 percent of black households are married couples with children, the lowest of any racial group in the United States .” Riley attributes the breakdown of the black family to the perverse effects of government social programs, which have created what journalist William Tucker calls “state polygamy.” As depicted in an idyllic 2012 Obama campaign cartoon, “The Life of Julia,” a lifelong relationship with the state offers the sustenance usually provided by two parents in most middle-class families.
Riley’s own life experience gives him powerful perspective from which to address these issues. His parents divorced but both remained attentive to him and his two sisters. His sisters, however, were drawn into the sex-and-drug pleasures of inner-city “culture.” By the time he graduated from high school, his older sister was a single mother. By the time he graduated from college, his younger sister had died from a drug overdose. Riley’s nine-year-old niece teased him for “acting white.” “Why you talk white, Uncle Jason?” she wanted to know. She couldn't understand why he was “trying to sound so smart.” His black public school teacher similarly mocked his standard English in front of the class. “The reality was,” Riley explains, “that if you were a bookish black kid who placed shared sensibilities above skin color, you probably had a lot of white friends.”
The compulsory “benevolence” of the welfare state, borne of the supposed expertise of sociologists and social planners, undermined the opportunities opened up by the end of segregation. The great hopes placed in education as a path to the middle class were waylaid by the virulence of a ghetto culture nurtured by family breakdown. Adjusted for inflation, federal per-pupil school spending grew 375 percent from 1970 to 2005, but the achievement gap between white and black students remained unchanged. Students at historically black colleges and universities, explained opinion columnist Bill Maxwell, “did not know what or whom to respect. For many, the rappers Bow Wow and 50 Cent were as important to black achievement as the late Ralph Bunche, the first black to win a Nobel Peace Prize, and Zora Neale Hurston, the great novelist.”
“Why study hard in school,” asks Riley, “if you will be held to a lower academic standard? Why change antisocial behavior when people are willing to reward it, make excuses for it, or even change the law to accommodate it?”
In the 50 years since the start of the Great Society and the expenditure of more than$20 trillion to alleviate poverty, millions of newcomers have entered America from Asia and from Africa . They generally arrived in poverty and have improved themselves by dint of self-help and hard work—those boring middle-class values that President Obama’s mentor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, denounced so strenuously. But if, as Riley demonstrates, the Great Society programs have failed in conventional terms, they have been an overwhelming political success. Together, government workers and the recipients of government benefits make up a formidable voting bloc. Yet their very political success may also prove their undoing: President Obama’s share of the African-American vote increased between 2008 and 2012, but during that period, blacks’ share of the national income declined and their unemployment rate increased.
“Everybody has asked the question,” Frederick Douglass said in an 1865 speech, “‘What should we do with the Negro?’ I have had but one answer from the beginning. Do nothing with us! Your doing with us has already played the mischief with us. Do nothing with us! If the apples will not remain on the tree of their own strength, if they are worm-eaten at the core, if they are early ripe and disposed to fall, let them fall. . . . And if the Negro cannot stand on his own legs, let him fall also. All I ask is, give him a chance to stand on his own legs!” A century and a half later, Jason Riley echoes that advice.

POLITICAL SUCCESS IS WHAT?

Brief autopsy regarding last weeks disappointing elections results.
A group of establishment republicans is trying to organize candidates to unseat TEA Party members such as Cruz, Lee, Paul, and all the rest. We think the time is right to get rid of those nasty supporters of the constitution, Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, liberty, freedom, free speech, freedom of religion and all of those other outdated, passé dusty old traditions. Just think, it's not only lefty democrats and the media fighting to get rid of the right wingers, we've now got all those magnificent RINOs workings for us. I know it's hard to believe but we have republicans who are so focused on "numbers" rather than saving the country that we're almost assured of a landslide victory. This skirmish shouldn't take more than a month of two.
You may be wondering who we're going to run against these right wing incumbents. Well, as luck would have it we've found several old retired bureaucrats (past 70) who are still able to tie their shoes and eat without slobbering...at least not very much. We've also already got pledges of support from McCain, Lindsay, McConnell, Boehner, Chris Matthews, Harry Reid, Carl Rove, Barney Sanders and several other patriotic socialists.
We owe this brilliant idea to Thad Cochran of Mississippi. He proved that with the RINOs, the Marxist media, (the propaganda wing of the democrat party), the millennials, the "victimized minorities" and the Xers, willing to fight for us for free, how can we lose. Before you know it the democracy we've come to hate will be replaced by a fair and equitable form of socialism that only we elitists can run effectively. Only we can hold all the power in our hands without going down the drain like all the other socialist nations have done. It'll be utopia!
